Q: Is it necessary to be a resident of Floral Park to become a member of the Society and must I attend all the monthly meetings?

A: No and No. It is not required for you to be a resident of Floral Park, nor to attend all of our meetings to be a member.


Q: If I have historic memorabilia, photos, artifacts, or documents, how do I donate it to the Society?

A: The Society welcomes all donations. Please contact Board Member Ann Corbett, FPHS President by email at   or by mail c/o The Floral Park Historical Society, PO Box 802, Floral Park, NY 11002.  Please note that the Society cannot appraise the value of any donation that is not monetary.

Q: Is a donation to the Society Tax Deductible?

A: Yes, donations to the Society are Tax Deductible.


Q: Is the Society an independent not-for-profit organization?

A: Yes, the Society is registered with the New York State Attorney General’s Office as a not-for-profit corporation. It is independent from the Incorporated Village of Floral Park.
