Floral Park is located in western Nassau County, New York. The village was incorporated in 1908.

Our Adventure Continues!

Dear Members and Friends,

            You are cordially invited to the FPHS 25th Anniversary Celebration at Swing the Teapot on October 27th at 4 p.m. The flyer detail the menu choices and reservation details. Be sure to “Save the Date”.

Since the anniversary event is in October there will not be an October program.

            The FPHS continues to receive many inquiries related to the history of Floral Park as well as donations of documents, photos and artifacts related to village history.  Are collections are continuing to grow. Tours of the Floral Park Historical Society Museum at 103 South Tyson Avenue are available. Just call me and a tour can be arranged. Tours are available for children’s groups as well as adults.

The book Images of America –Floral Park Nassau County written by Village Historian Walter Gosden contains a treasure trove of information and photos about our community located at the western edge of the Hempstead Plains.
